Shrimp puff pastry is a popular snack cake in Southeast Asian countries. The fried cake is crispy, spongy, greasy, and smells of seafood. In Vietnam, shrimp crackers, considered a specialty of the Southwest, are often sold in unfried form, which must be fried before use. Sa Dec city in Dong Thap province is the largest producer of shrimp crackers in Vietnam with a very famous brand, Sa Giang.
