Its built-in internal sensor measures surrounding ambient temperatures, such as those inside warehouses or transport vehicles, within a range of −30°C to 60°C. For applications requiring a broader measurement range, the included external probe with a 1.5-meter cable enables temperature monitoring from −40°C to 85°C. This makes it particularly suitable for tracking temperatures inside refrigerators, freezers, vaccine storage units, or directly within packaged products. Important: The RC-4 is a temperature-only data logger and does not measure humidity. For combined temperature and humidity monitoring, use the RC-4HC model. Please note that the device records data from only one sensor at a time—either the internal sensor or the external probe—depending on the selected configuration. IP67 Protection for Demanding Environments Built for challenging transport and storage conditions, the RC-4 features an IP67 protection rating.
